Tutorial: Quests

At the second part of this quick tutorial, I'll try to show how to start and make a quest.

Quests on monster warlord are really simple, and essencial to the game. With quests you will gain experience and eventually level up, earn money and farm monsters.

To start the quest, go to your homepage:

At the homepage, you can go to the quest menu using two different buttons, they will lead you to the same page:

- First Option, at the middle of your homepage.

Or

   - Second Option, at the botton of your homepage.

Clicking on any of those two options, will lead you to the "Quest Menu":

Let's take the first quest as an example:

Doing this quest will grant you 15-45 gold, plus +1 experience. Its required 1 point of energy, so, at the example, if I decide to make this quest, I'll lose on point of energy (I'll be with 20 points of a total of 160), and I must have at least one ally.

- Shows how much energy takes to begin the quest.

 - Shows how many allies you need to start the quest.

But energy and allies are not everything a quest asks for. For almost all the quests on this game, you will need some monsters too, like the example below::

- If you have everything quests requires, then you click on "DO IT"!

Your level is important for questing. You open new quests when you level up:

As you can see in the example, I'll unlock a new quest when I reach level 98.

- QUEST RANK:
This is very important for a good character creation. You might have noticed that you earn some mastery points, every time you do the quest.

The mastery point allows you to level up your rank in quests. When you get 100% on any quest, you will receive a snakk bonus gold and experience. When you get 100% mastery in all quests of some area, you will receive a good amount of gold, and experience.

But that's not all! When you get 100% on all quests of any area, let's take the "Grassland" (first area of the game), you will first go from RANK 1, to RANK 2. This will give you 2 free skill points!

At rank 2, all your masteries goes to zero percent again, and you will have to start all over, getting 100% mastery on all the quests again. This is kinda boring, but will grant you mor 2 free skill points!

Think its done? No! You're wrong! You'll now be on rank 3, and all your masteries will go to zero percent again. But don't worry, now things get real good, because when you get 100% mastery on all your quests on rank three, you will not receibe skill points, you will receive AN ITEM!

All that said, I highly recomend you to get Rank 3 (That´s the max rank you can get) on all areas. Not only for the extra skill points, experience and gold, but for the item too. They are really good.

Unfortunately I don't have all the itens, not because I'm lazy, but because my level is not high enough. So I'm posting the information I found on another tutorial (credits will be given at the end of the item list):

                                                                     ITEM LIST:

Tutorial: Understand the game

This will start my quick tutorial.

Monster warlord is really simple, basically all you need to do is use your energy to make quests, and stamina to hit summoned bosses, world bosses, battle players and bounty hunt.

This is your homepage, that's where you can see your "leader", your health, energy, stamina and more, we'll see more details now. Of course it will not cover every single detail, I might forget to talk about something, so I ask again for you, reading this tutorial, to remember me if I skipped something. As a reward of your help, I'll give you credits! (You'll have your ingame nickname, plus your code)

1) TOP OF THE HOMEPAGE

Here you can see:

Your level, in the center of the yellow star. Mine, so far, is 95. Monster Warlord recently updated, and now the max level you can get is 320. So as you can see, its a long way to go. High level unlocks new quests, incomings, powerful common monster to buy with money, and uncommon, epic and encients to buy with jewel.

You can get experience and level up doing quests or attacking people. When attacking people, you get from 1 to 5 exp per win, and always 1 exp point per loss.

The bar close to the star, is your experience bar, completing it will grant you a level up. Each level up gives +3 skill points.

That green number (6.410.584G) is your money. This is really important, with this you can buy your monsters, incoming, fuse monster and more. When you get attacked and lose the battle, the winner will get part of your money. So a good tip I can give you is use your money to building incomings, buy monster of fuse' em. You can also store your money at the bank. Not the best option, because it costs 20% of the amount you want to save. For example, if you want to store 1.000g, you'll have just 800g available.

The red hearth is your HP. You use HP to battle other people. You also lose HP when attacked by other players. Your health is recovered with time (every 1:30 minutes you recover 1 HP), or you can cure yourself, at the "cure" option. It will cost you money. The higher your level, more expansive it gets to heal. You can only attack and be attacked when your health is higher then 26. If it gets lower then that, you'll need to heal, or wait until you have health enough to attack again.

The thunder symbol shows your energy. You need energy to make quests. Quests are good not only to earn money and level up, but its a good way to get monster, since some quests gives "Monster capture chances". The chances to capture the monster increases with your level. (Higher your level, more chances you have)

The green paw shows your stamina. As said before, you'll need it to attack and hit bosses.

2) MIDDLE OF THE HOMEPAGE

Here you can see:

"Profile": Shows all the information about your game, such as skill information, stats, income and upkeep, archievement and itens. You can also see your messages there. When you level up, you might want to use your points later. As you can see, I have one skill point left. So I click on profile and go to "Tab here to upgrade".

"Alliance": Shows all your alliance. They are really important, because:

- Your allies will summon bosses, and you can fight it, if it dies, you'll receive the reward based on your contribution, in money.

- They make your army stronger. Every ally you make grants you more 6 monsters. So, if I have 10 allies, I can use up to 60 monsters. But remember, there is a max number of monster you can have. To know it, just multiply your level by 30. Example. I'm level 10. I can have up to 300 monster.

"Option help": Not getting into details here. It gives you options like turn off the warning everytime someone summons a boss, or attacks you. Personally I turn all the warnings off. It gets really annoying when you have a lot of allies.

"Quest": Shows all the quests you can do. New quests are unlocked when you level up.

"Monster": This is where you buy monster.

"Battle": Its the place to battle or bounty hunt other players.

"Boss": Here you can summon your boss, fight the world boss, or the bosses your allies summoned. There is a delay between every summon, so you can't just keep summoning the same bosses. The delay to summon is around 13 days. You can end this delay using jewels.

"Building": This is really important. You can't just buy all the monster you want. Well, you can, but you'll need income for that. The income comes by building. Like quests, you unlock new building option leveling up. Almost every monster have a buying price, and a income price. Example: Fire spirit, costs 10.000g, and 100g to upkeep.

"Bank": Where you store your money. Remember that 20% of that money is for the bank, as fee.

"Cure": Heal your health, use money for that. Healing gets more expansive every time you level up.

"Shop": Here you can buy stuff using Jewels. You earn jewels by fighting the world boss, for playing every day, or paying real money on that.

3) BOTTON OF THE HOMEPAGE

Here you can see:

"Home": Brings you back to the Homepage

"News": Here you can see who attacked you, allies that summoned bosses, who talked to you and more. In the picture, I have 5 news

"Quests": Takes you to the quest menu.

"Battle": Takes you to the battle menu

"Monster": Takes you to the monster menu

"Shop": Takes you to the shop, to spend your jewel

And thats it.
Its just a starter guide, there is much more to talk, and I'll try to make separate guides, covering more details later.

Hope you guys enjoyed that!
Any mistake, or anything I forgot to say, please comment, or email me (I'll create the email later)

My personal monster warlord blog

Hi everyone!
I'm Ember, and I got really addicted into monster warlord.

But being a normal player isn't enough for me, so I decided to create my own blog, and post about my experience into this game.

I'll try to talk about tips, builds, your monster army and more.

First thing you need to know about me is that I'm Brazilian, so unfortunately sometimes, I'll make some gramatical (thanks Cabelo!) grammar mistakes. Hope you guys forgive me!

I'm not a professional, and there are many, many things I still don't know. That's why I need you guys to comment, send emails, or add me ingame!

After all that, but not less important, I hope all you guys enjoy this. And please help! :)
